Desktop Agent v1.0.7

An AI assistant for tasks on your desktop

EchoPost AI Desktop Agent looks at screenshots of your screen, asks an AI model (through EchoPost's servers) for the next step, and then clicks and types on your computer to try to complete the task you describe. It is an early release, Windows only, and can make mistakes.

Using version 1.0.1 through 1.0.6?

Version 1.0.7 is the latest installer on this page. Download it and run it. It installs over your current version. The app does not update itself. Since version 1.0.2 it no longer asks for your own Anthropic API key; you sign in with your EchoPost account. Version 1.0.7 names the window EchoPost. Version 1.0.6 shows the credit balance and Add credits, which opens the plans page.

Get started in 3 steps

1

Download Installer

Click the Download button to get the EchoPost AI Setup file.

2

Run Installer

Double-click EchoPost-AI-Setup-1.0.7.exe and follow the installer. The app is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may say "Windows protected your PC" and that an unrecognized app was blocked. Click "More info", then "Run anyway". Do that only if you downloaded this file from wead.live and its SHA-256 matches the Windows card. The app does not update itself. If you have 1.0.1 through 1.0.6, this installer replaces it.

3

Open EchoPost AI and sign in with your EchoPost account. You do not need your own AI API key: the app uses EchoPost's AI service.

What's included

Takes screenshots of your screen and asks an AI model what to do next
Moves the mouse and types on your PC to carry out each step
Sign in with your existing EchoPost account; no personal AI API key needed
Actions run on your PC; screenshots are sent through EchoPost's servers to Google Gemini (with Anthropic Claude as a backup) to decide each step
Early release: it can misread the screen or click the wrong thing, so watch it while it works
Windows only

Requires an EchoPost account. Windows 10 or later recommended. The installer is not code-signed: if SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC”, click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. Only do that for EchoPost-AI-Setup-1.0.7.exe downloaded from wead.live, and check that its SHA-256 matches the value on the Windows card.
The desktop agent runs on your PC. To plan each step it sends screenshots of your screen through EchoPost's servers to Google Gemini, with Anthropic Claude as a backup. Avoid running it while passwords or other sensitive information are visible.
